New Delhi: In a first of its kind, the RSS Sarsangchalak, Mohan Bhagwat, will interact with foreign media personnel on 24 September at Ambedkar International Center in Delhi.

The meet is also planned to clear any misconceptions the world media might have about the organization. It will also help them understand the idea and the continuing work of RSS.

The Akhil Bharatiya Prachar Pramukh of RSS, Arun Kumar, said, “RSS chief has been interacting with different sections of the society from time to time and have been appraising them about the works and idea of the RSS. He also discusses current issues. Continuing the process, he will interact with representatives of foreign media on September 24.”

Arun Kumar added that the organization will appraise the foreign media about its views on current and relevant issues of concern and hold a constructive discussion. This meeting is considered the first interaction by foreign media representatives with RSS chief.

The meeting comes exactly after a year when Mohan Bhagwat gave a three-day lecture in which the Indian media participated while the international media was left out.
