New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the 74th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York on Friday.
This would be Modi’s maiden speech at the world body after assuming office for the second term.
The address is likely to take place around 7.30 pm (IST), shortly before Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan delivers his speech.
The Indian government has maintained that the Prime Minister will not raise the Kashmir issue at the meeting. On the other side, Islamabad has asserted that it will surely raise the issue of Kashmir at the world body.
This would be Modi’s final day of his six-day visit to the US.
