New Delhi: Security has been beefed up in the airports as per the inputs of the Intelligence Department on the possibility of terror attacks in this festive season. Intel reports revealed that four Pakistan based Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorists have entered the national capital and are targeting to hit many areas. The terrorists are planning to conduct suicide attacks against airports, said the agencies.
The airports sounded on high alert are Srinagar, Jammu, Awantipur, Pathankot and Hindan.
A high level meeting was held at the Prime Minister’s office this morning to analyse the measures taken. A meeting, headed by National Security Advisor Ajith Doval was also held on the basis of warning from the Intel agencies.
