New Delhi: The King of The Netherlands, Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima arrived in India on Sunday for a five-day state visit.
The King will hold meetings with President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar will call on the Dutch King.
The Royal Couple will also visit Mumbai and Kerala.
The Netherlands is the partner country for the Technology Summit and the duo will be attending the inaugural session of the 25th Summit in New Delhi.
This is the first-ever visit to India following the King’s ascension to the throne in 2013.
The Netherlands is the 5th largest investor in India and is home to 2,35,000 Indian diaspora in mainland Europe.
