New Delhi: The Indian Meteorological Department has predicted in its forecast bulletin that A Low Pressure Area lies over East Central Arabian Sea and associated cyclonic circulation extends up to 4.5 km above mean sea level.
It is very likely to become Well Marked Low-Pressure Area during the next 24 hours and is likely to intensify into Depression during the subsequent 24 hours.
Further, it is likely to initially move north-northeastwards over east-central Arabian Sea till 24th October and then recurve west-northwestwards towards Oman-Yemen coasts with gradual intensification, according to the weather forecast agency.
Another Low-Pressure Area is likely to form over southwest & adjoining west-central Bay of Bengal off north Tamil Nadu and south Andhra Pradesh coasts around 23rd October.
Heavy to very heavy rainfall also likely over Kerala & Mahe and Tamil Nadu, Puducherry & Karaikal during next 2-3 days and over Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam, Coastal & North Interior Karnataka during subsequent 2 days stated IMD.
