New Delhi: On Monday, post the polling, exit polls indicated a major win again for BJP in Haryana and with its ally Shiv Sena in Maharashtra.
BJP spokesperson G V L Narasimha Rao said the exit polls clearly show that his party is headed for a spectacular victory in Maharashtra and Haryana.
The exit poll done by Republic Tv predicted 223 seats for “BJP plus” and 54 seats for “Congress plus” in Maharashtra. It predicted 11 seats for others.
According to Times Now exit poll, it predicted 230 seats to NDA and 48 seats to Congress-NCP alliance in Maharashtra.
Several exit polls showed BJP close to a majority on its own along with Sena who may also see a surge in numbers.
