New Delhi: A parking scuffle grew into a full blown clash between the police and the lawyers at Tis Hazari Court in New Delhi today. Shots were fired after the clash escalated and one lawyer got injured and is admitted in a hospital.
The fight began over a parking issue between a police officer and a lawyer. The lawyers say that the police resorted to firing when the fight got out of hand. In retaliation the lawyers set police vehicles on fire and locked down the compound.
They did not allow the media or the police to enter the compound following the situation. The police have also closed down the premises to prevent further untoward incidents.
