New Delhi: The Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, addressed the nation hours after the Supreme Court of India delivered the historic verdict on Ramjanmabhoomi land dispute case. He said that the Supreme Court verdict has brought a new dawn for the country and pledge that the present generation will build a new India.
He said that there is no place for fear, bitterness and negativity in ‘New India’. Saying that on 9 November the Berlin Wall came down, today’s verdict on Ayodhya on this day is a message to unite, join hands and to move ahead with all. He said today is the day to end all bitterness.
Narendra Modi said that India’s concept of unity in diversity in India is seen in the reaction of the people of India to the verdict. The Supreme Court heard all the stakeholders and the verdict was unanimous. The people of India from every section, community and religion welcomed the judgment with open hearts.
The Prime Minister also said that today the world will see how alive and strong India’s democracy is.
