J&K : LeT terrorist neutralised in Ganderbal encounter

Ganderbal : In the encounter that took place between security forces and terrorists on Tuesday in Ganderbal, one terrorist was gunned down and has been identified as Pakistani national, affiliated with terror outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT).

Jammu and Kashmir police has recovered arms and ammunition from his possession.

“Killed #terrorist has been identified as #Pakistani namely Khalid @ Zebran. Affiliated with proscribed #terror outfit #LeT. Arms & ammunition recovered. Involved in terror #crimes. Search continues.@JmuKmrPolice,” tweeted Kashmir Police Zone.

The fight began after a joint operation of the Jammu and Kashmir Police, the CRPF, and the Army was conducted along the area. There were specific intelligence inputs about the presence of terrorists in the area which led to the operation.
