New Delhi: BJP leader and MP from Bhopal, Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur, today apologized for her comments about Godse and said that some leaders took her statement out of context. She also blamed Rahul Gandhi for calling her a terrorist saying that no court has found her guilty of terrorism.

Sadvi Pragya Singh said in Lok Sabha, “My statements made in the Parliament are being distorted. I respect Mahatma Gandhi’s contribution to the nation. I apologise If I have hurt any sentiments.”

After apologizing she said that one member called her a terrorist and said that it was an attack on her dignity. She was referring to the tweet of Rahul Gandhi in which he openly calls the MP a terrorist.

Sadvi Pragya Singh Thakur said, “No charges have been proven against me in court and it is against the law to call me a terrorist.”
