Rajmahal: Defence minister Rajnath Singh on Saturday said that nothing can deter the government from the implementation of National Register of Citizenship (NRC) and assured of “due diligence” of what the exercise is aimed at – identifying the “swadeshi” and “videshi”.
Singh was addressing a poll rally at Rajmahal in Jharkhand and said that a meeting will be organised to discuss the fate of illegal migrants who have settled here with a humane approach unlike the way they are being treated in several other countries.
Talking about the construction of Ram temple at Ayodhya, Singh said that despite the opposition mocking at BJP, the party had a firm belief in the judicial process and that the temple will be built through “legal means”.
