New Delhi: The Delhi Police Special Branch has given a secret report which says that Bangladeshi Muslim immigrants were behind the stone pelting and arson during the protests in the national capital against Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA).
According to the report these Bangladeshi illegal immigrants, who will be affected by the CAA were behind the violence at Seelampur area of northeast Delhi. It also says that the violence were instigated by these illegal immigrants who have a criminal past. Some masked and armed infiltrators had set the government properties on fire.
The police report also warned that the violence could spread to areas where illegal Bangladeshi immigrants are living and have also proposed strict patrol of many shanties and slums.
All police stations in Delhi have received list of illegal Bangladeshi immigrants with criminal backgrounds. They will be tracked down and arrested to prevent them from instigating more violence.
A senior police officer said that those behind the attacks were those illegal migrants who must go back to their country because they are not citizens of India.
