New Delhi: The fiery BJP MP Subramanian Swamy, today, said that Congress President, Sonia Gandhi has used lies to instigate the anti-Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) protests.
In a tweet, Swamy said, “The true Nazis are the Nazi soldier’s daughter led an uprising on a lie that CAA is anti-Muslim! If you are pro Hindu then you must be anti-Muslim. If you are pro Muslim you are secular.”
Sonia Gandhi had shared a video yesterday on social media where she attacked Modi for using force to suppress dissent.
The Congress, left parties, communal organizations and other opposition parties have fuelled violent protests against the CAA. Till now more than 20 persons have died across the country in the violence. Scores of police personnel have been injured as well. The protesters have burned vehicles and police stations across the country.
The BJP has maintained that the law do not discriminate between people and accuses the opposition parties of spreading misinformation on CAA and NRC.
