New Delhi: Intense cold has left rail, road as well as air traffic disrupted in the country’s capital today. Many trains have been cancelled and rescheduled. Around 40 flights delayed due to heavy fog.
Six people, including two children were killed as their car plunged into a canal due to low visibility in the dense fog. Five others got injured in the mishap. The incident took place at 11.30 pm last night in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh.
Delhi recorded 4.6 degree celsius at 5.30 in the morning. The air quality is also alarming. It is expected that the temperature will raise in the coming hours.
