Mumbai: BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis on Monday attacked Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray after ‘free Kashmir’ poster was seen during the protest in Mumbai.
Fadnavis questioned Thackeray whether such separatist elements can be tolerated.
Fadnavis took to Twitter and said, “Protest is for what exactly?Why slogans of “Free Kashmir”?How can we tolerate such separatist elements in Mumbai? ‘Free Kashmir’ slogans by Azadi gang at 2km from CMO? He reacted after a poster read ‘Free Kashmir’ at the Gateway of India when a group was protesting against the violence in the Jawaharlal Nehru University. Some posters also read ‘Ban on ABVP’ and ‘stand with JNU’.
