Amethi: Union Minister Smriti Irani on Monday visited her parliamentary constituency Amethi to inaugurate various development projects and spoke to media where she took a jibe at the Congress party.
On being asked whether Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi will become Congress president, Irani said,” Only Sonia Gandhi could answer. Because we all know that the post of the Congress president is a family matter.”
Speaking about Priyanka Gandhi’s constant attack on the BJP, Irani said, “Amethi and its people can tell everything about this and the result given by Amethi in Lok Sabha polls is an example for them.”
