New Delhi: The Supreme Court of India has constituted the larger bench to look into the pleas in the Sabarimala case. The larger bench will have nine judges with the Chief Justice of India, S. A. Bobde, heading it.
Other judges on the bench are Justices R. Bhanumati, Ashok Bhushan, R. Subhas Reddy, L. Nagaeshwara Rao, Mohan M. Shanthangowdar, S. Abdul Naseer, B. R. Gavai, and Suryakanth.
The pleas against the Supreme Court’s verdict last year allowing women entry into Sabarimala will be taken up on 13 of this month. The Supreme Court had on 14 November last year said that the Sabarimala verdict will be given by the larger bench.
