Kolkata: The burned body of a 17 year old girl was found in South Dinajpur district in West Bengal. Though the family of the girl is saying that she was gang raped and burned to death, the police tells that they cannot confirm it until post mortem reports.

However, the BJP State President Dilip Ghosh has blamed the police and administration for the shocking incident. He further blamed the intellectuals for their silence.

Dilip Ghosh in a press conference said, “Administration, women’s commission and intellectuals are all silent. Shall we assume the women of Bengal have no respect, safety and security? It is very disappointing that our CM is busy in not allowing CAA, and her police has no time to prevent crimes, since they are busy harassing BJP workers by framing them in false cases.”

The police have registered a case on the complaint of the girl’s family and said that the accused have been arrested. They are charged with gang rape and murder.

This inhuman act brings to memory about the gang rape and murder of a veterinary doctor near Hyderabad a few months ago. Violent acts continues against women even after a Delhi court signs death warrants against all the accused in the brutal rape and murder of Nirbhaya in Delhi.
