New Delhi: Quoting intelligence reports a national media has reported that terror outfits active in Jammu and Kashmir are getting ready for attacks of Republic Day in the State. The attacks are planned in Kashmir valley and also Jammu regions.
One report says that Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorist Zahid Nazir Bhat is present at Pulwama in Jammu along with three or four foreign terrorists.
Another report speaks of fidayeen attacks by Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) under the leadership of Idris, a foreign terrorist and local commander Zahid Manzoor. They are planning attacks on security forces in Rajpora area of Srinagar.
There are also reports that IEDs will be used in the attacks and Hizb-ul Mujahideen plans attack at Pulwama area using IEDs.
Meanwhile, Hizb-ul Mujahideen is carrying out recruitment of local terrorists and son of a retired sub inspector is feared to have joined the outfit.
