Rampur: After registering 26 FIRs against Senior Samajwadi Party leader Azam Khan for grabbing lands by the farmers of Aliyaganj village, the Rampur administration on Friday has decided to return the lands to rightful owners.
According to reports, six farmers will be taking possession of their land on Friday. A possession of 17 bighas land on Mohammad Ali Jauhar University campus was quickly given back to 20 farmers after their names and land numbers were found in the land revenues.
As per reports, Azam Khan had took possession over 17 bigha land for the university with the help of a circle officer Alay Hasan Khan, who is now absconding.
