Kolkata: A BJP pro-CAA rally was attacked by Trinamool Congress (TMC) goons in Hoogly District. Three BJP workers are said to be injured in the attack by Mamata Banerjee’s party men.
The incident occurred with the rally reached Dankuni More from Serampore. The TMC worker confronted the rally and an attack ensued.
The attack comes on a day when the country is celebrating the 71st Republic Day. Attacks against the BJP has increased after the saffron party became a force to reckon with in the state. The TMC under the leadership of Chief Minister, Mamata Banerjee, is trying hard to keep the BJP out of power in the state.
