Bidar: The Bidar police on Monday registered a case against Shaheen Education Institute of Bidar, for uploading a school drama video against CAA/NRC. The video also showcased humiliating Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The case was registered based on a complaint lodged by social worker Nilesh Rakshyal. He stated that minor children of the institute were made to stage the drama, humiliating PM Modi.
The drama was staged on Sunday.
The drama conveyed anti-India message that if CAA and NRC is implemented, one particular community would have to leave the country.
The video footage of the drama was uploaded by Mohammad Yousuf Rahim of Bidar, the complainant said.
The complainant has demanded legal action against the institute and Rahim.
The ABVP also protested against the institute and has submitted a memorandum to the home minister.
