New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday addressed a National Cadet Corps rally in New Delhi. He praised the willpower and determination of the youths and their contribution on the path of development.
“A country where youth is disciplined has willpower and determination, it can never be stopped on its path to development. India has a young population, we’re proud of it but the thinking of the country should be young too,” Modi said.
“India’s youth is getting restless with no change. It wants change, that has not happened in 70 years since Independence. It is not ready to fall prey to these old problems,” he added.
Talking about the development in defence’s fighter planes, PM Modi said, ” For over 30 years not a single next generation fighter plane was inducted. Due to old aircrafts, there would be mishaps happening where we lose our fighter pilots. Today the country has the next generation fighter plane Rafale, inducted to the Air Force, after 3 decades, which would be flying soon.”
