New Delhi: Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath, has come down heavily against those anti-CAA protesters who are sitting on a protest at Shaheen Bagh for more than a month now. Scores of women are sitting there demanding the government roll back Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and NRC. He also accused them of supporting terrorists in Kashmir.

Yogi also attacked Delhi Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal, for supporting these protesters and supplying biryani to them.

Yogi Adityanath said, “These protests happening at various places in Delhi are not about the CAA, but it is happening because those people are questioning as to how can India emerge as a major power in the world, and to stop that rising India.”

He was speaking at an election rally at Karawal Nagar Chowk in east Delhi.

Election to the Delhi Assembly is on 8 February and the electioneering is in full swing. Yogi Adityanath is one of the many star campaigners in BJP rallies. He is hailed as one of the most efficient Chief Ministers of India with his no nonsense approach to administration.

Yogi Adityanath has been effective in curbing the menace of anti-social elements in the state which was in full swing during the earlier administrations. The UP police took a strict approach to criminals and many were eliminated during encounters. This has brought a sense of safety to the people of the state.
