New Delhi: External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar revealed the reason for joining politics saying that for the first time he saw a government talking about reforms, which also made him feel to contribute to bring about a reform.
Jaishankar said, ” A reason I joined politics is that I saw a govt talking about reforms. For the first time, we have a govt for which reform means nutrition, girl’s education, middle-class services.Then I thought I should also contribute to bring about a reform.”
Jaishankar assured that any Indian in trouble from across the world, will be taken care of by the Indian government and for that such a system has been developed by India.
He said, ” In 5 years, under this govt, we have developed a system by which any Indian in trouble anywhere in the world, we look after them. We are there for them.”
