New Delhi: The United States President, Donald Trump, will make his maiden visit to India between 23 and 26 February and is expected to sign a trade deal with India. The final touches of the deal is going on by officials from both sides.
Donald Trump will reach New Delhi during his two-day visit and might call on another city. However, reports say that option is only being explored at this stage. A high level logistics team from the US reached India to make preparations for Trump’s visit.
Reports say that India might seek exemption from high duties imposed by US on steel and aluminium products. In addition, India is looking for greater market access for agriculture products, auto parts, automobiles and engineering products in the US.
The United States will look for more market access to its farm products, manufacturing goods, dairy items, and medical devices in India.
