Chennai: Income Tax officials are questioning Tamil Nadu superstar, Vijay, for evasion of tax, related to AGS Cinemas, which produced his latest movie Bigil. The marathon questioning has entered sixteen hours now.
The actor was currently acting in his upcoming movie, Master. The shooting is halted for the time being after Vijay was held by IT sleuths for questioning. IT officials also raided his residence at Chennai. Raids were also carried out at the properties of AGS Cinemas and film financier, Anbu Cheliyan, in Madurai.
Vijay was taken into custody from his shooting site around 4.30 pm yesterday.
