New Delhi: Sri Lanka Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa who is on a five-day visit to India, met Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Hyderabad House.
Rajapaksa attended a ceremonial reception at Rashtrapati Bhawan today in the presence of PM Modi.
Mahinda Rajapaksa also paid tributes to Mahatma Gandhi at Rajghat.
The Sri Lankan PM is also slated to hold talks with President Ram Nath Kovind later today.
He arrived on Friday evening. Before reaching India, Rajapaksa had tweeted, ” I will be in Delhi on a state visit, meeting my good friend PM @narendramodi, the President, the External Affairs Minister & other govt.officials. Looking forward to building new avenues of cooperation with this visit & strengthening the already existing ties between our nations.”
