New Delhi: United States President, Donald Trump, will make his first visit to India on 24 February. He will visit New Delhi and Gujarat according to reports and would be accompanied by First Lady, Melania Trump.
During the visit India will sign a $2.6 billion deal to purchase military helicopters from US based company Lockheed Martin.
White House Press Secretary said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Donald Trump during a phone call over the weekend spoke about solidifying the strategic partnership between the countries.
The Cabinet Committee on Security headed by Modi might give approval to purchase 24 MH-60R Seahawk helicopters for the Indian Navy.
