New Delhi: AAP at the moment is sitting at the edge of a comfortable majority at the Delhi Assembly with lead in 49 seats. However, there is good news for BJP as the party is leading in 21 seats which is an excellent performance relative to the last assembly election.
The Congress has no lead in any constituency bringing out the pathetic situation of the grand old party.
It must be noted that the strong supporters of Shaheen Bagh protests could not make any headway in the election result. During the election campaign, AAP wisely kept their distance from Shaheen Bagh protests and instead concentrated on their developmental works in Delhi.
