New Delhi: After the humiliating defeat of Congress in the Delhi Assembly election, the party state chief, Subash Chopra, has given his resignation taking full responsibility for the failure.
Subhash Chopra said, “I take moral responsibility for the party’s debacle and have resigned.”
He added, “I had less time, but still I put all my efforts. I have never seen such politics in Delhi ever, where voters got influenced by the advertisements done by AAP and voted for it.”
However, leaders of Congress like Chidambaram are trying to divert the humiliation of their defeat by celebrating AAP’s victory and congratulating the people of the state for voting for AAP.
It must be noted that Congress won in zero seats, repeating its exact performance in the previous Assembly election. However, BJP has performed better than last time and secured 8 seats and increased its vote share too.
