New Delhi: Union Home Minister, Amit Shah, has given a slew of promises that to Kashmiri Pandits that raises high hopes for the community, which has been living in exile for more than thirty years fearing Islamic terrorists.
Amit Shah promised to build ten special townships for Pandits returning to Jammu and Kashmir. He also promised to renovate temples that were destroyed by terrorists. In addition, the government will make special provisions so that the age limit for government jobs is extended for the Pandits.
The Home Minister’s promises comes after a delegation of prominent Kashmiri Pandits visited the Home Minister in a gesture of gratitude for abrogating Article 370. The delegates urged Amit Shah to address the issues of the Pandits and make way for their honourable and dignified return to Kashmir.
