Kalaburagi: The Kalaburagi police have registered a FIR against AIMIM leader Waris Pathan for his controversial provocative statement that 15 crore Muslims can dominate 100 crore Hindus.
Pathan has been booked under section 117, 153 (provocation with intent to cause riot) and 153A (promoting enmity between different groups) of the Indian Penal Code.
Pathan posed a threat to the Hindus by stating that a population of just 15 crores of Muslims in the country can definitely dominate over 100 crore Hindus. He signalled at the Muslims that time has come for them to unite and ‘achieve freedom’.
He warned Hindus to be alert of the consequences that follow if Muslims get united during the hate-mongering speech.
