New Delhi: National Security Advisor Ajit Doval has been given the responsibility to take stock of situation in North East Delhi and bring the tense situation under control.
The NSA is also going to brief the PM and Cabinet about the situation soon.
In the previous night he had visited riot-hit places including Jaffrabad, Seelampur and other parts of Northeast Delhi and had talks with various leaders of different communities.
Doval has affirmed that chaos in the national capital would not be allowed to remain worse and an efficient number of police forces and paramilitary forces have been deployed and cops have been given a free hand to bring the situation under control.
