New Delhi: Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla on Tuesday told Opposition that the government is ready to have a discussion on Delhi violence but after Holi.
The opposition uproar demanded an immediate discussion on Delhi violence.
“I am giving a direction. Holi should be celebrated in an atmosphere of amity. The government is ready for discussion. It should be after Holi,” said Om Birla.
The Speaker also questioned the opposition whether issues related to Dalits and weaker sections should not be discussed which was included in Tuesday’s agenda.
