New Delhi: The Central government is doing its best to help people infected with the coronavirus whereby it has expanded the network of laboratories only to test samples of the suspected cases to 52 on Saturday in wake of 34 confirmed cases.
Two of the laboratories are in Delhi at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) with advanced virology laboratories. Another being at National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
Also, 57 other laboratories are helping in sample collection for the testing of Covid-19.
The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) in collaboration with the Department of Health Research is supervising testing of samples and is ensuring quality of testing across the 52 labs, stated HT.
