Bhopal: A political crisis in the state has lead to resignation of 20 ministers during a cabinet meeting convened late Monday night.
The Kamal Nath-led government in Madhya Pradesh seems to head towards political crisis. Twenty ministers submitted their resignation to express solidarity with the Chief Minister, who accepted their resignations.
The Ministers have requested him to reconstitute the state cabinet.
Congress leader Umang Singhar said,” All are together. Scindia ji (Jyotiraditya Scindia) is also with the Congress.”
Home Minister Amit Shah held a meeting with former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan on the situation in Madhya Pradesh. Senior BJP leader and Union minister Narendra Singh Tomar also attended the meeting.
The Congress party will hold a legislative party meeting today amid the ongoing political crisis.
