New Delhi: The national health ministry has asked all the educational institution in the country to remain closed till 31 March to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus. The ministry has asked that all shopping malls and swimming pools to remain closed too.
The ministry has also instructed companies to make arrangements for employees to work from home so that public commutation is kept to the minimum.
In addition everyone is asked to maintain at least one meter distance while talking with each other till 31 March. The airplane companies are asked not to bring anyone from European countries where the COVID-19 has spread widely. Travels to Europe are also cancelled. The travel ban will come to effect from Wednesday.
114 persons are infected with the deadly virus in India and two persons have already died from the infection. The Central government is taking all precautions against the spread of COVID-19 further. The coming weeks are very crucial for the country as the virus is spreading continuously.
This is why the ministry has asked every educational institution to remain closed till 31 March.
