New Delhi: The Minister of State (MoS) for External Affairs who had put himself under self-quarantine in New Dlehi has tested negative for coronavirus on Tuesday.
He happened to attend a meeting with doctors who had been in touch with the infected patients in Kerala.
The minister attended the doctors at Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology, Thiruvananthapuram on Sunday.
One of the doctors with travel history to Spain, tested positive for COVID-19, had allegedly been in contact with other doctors. Thus he was put under home quarantine after he developed symptoms.
Last Saturday I had visited Research Div. of a Medical Institute, whose Hospital later reported a #COVID19 +ve case. As a measure of abundant precaution I am in home quarantine since then.
Have tested negative for #COVID19.
No to panic! Yes to precaution!#IndiaFightsCorona
