New Delhi: The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) has announced that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, will address the nation tomorrow at 8 pm. He will speak on COVID-19 and inform the citizens about the country’s effort to fight the virus.
In a Twitter message the PMO said, “PM Shri Narendra Modi will address the nation on 19th March 2020 at 8 PM, during which he will talk about issues relating to COVID-19 and the efforts to combat it.”
In a statement the PMO said, “PM Modi chaired a high-level meeting to review the ongoing efforts to contain COVID-19. Ways to further strengthen India’s preparedness were discussed. The PM emphasised on actively engaging with individuals, local communities and organisations in chalking out mechanisms to fight the COVID-19 menace. He also urged officials and technical experts to deliberate on the steps to be taken next.”
