Mumbai: The master blaster, Sachin Tendulkar has made his monetary contribution to the government to help in fight against COVID-19 pandemic.
Sachin Tendulkar, who is always at the forefront when it comes to charity, has donated Rs 25 lakh each to Prime Minister’s Relief Fund and Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.
Tendulkar’s donation is so far the biggest contribution among India’s leading sportspersons.
Other cricketers like Yusuf Pathan and Irfan Pathan donated 4000 masks to Baroda police and health department, while Mahendra Singh Dhoni made a contribution of Rs 1 lakh.
BCCI President Sourav Ganguly also pledged to donate rice worth Rs 50 lakh for the underprivileged.
