New Delhi: It is revealed that one of the Islamic terrorists involved in the attack against a Gurudwara in Kabul, is a Keralite from Kasaragod district called Mohammad Sajid Kuthirulmmal. The attack had killed 25 Sikhs, who comprises only a minuscule of the population of Afghanistan.
Mohammad Sajid Kuthirulmmal had fled Kasaragod, where he was a shopkeeper, along with 14 others four years ago to join the Islamic State. He is wanted by the NIA and has an Interpol red notice against him.
The NATO and Afghan security forces had claimed that they had killed every ISIS fighters in Nangarhar province in the country, where Sajid had fled to four years back. It seems Sajid had escaped the security forces and is still alive.
The ISIS fighter had also placed bombs at the crematorium to kill more people who would attend the funeral rites of the killed Sikh community members.
India along with the United Nations and the United States had condemned the cowardly act of the Islamic terrorists.
