New Delhi: On the occasion of 40th foundation day of Bharatiya Janata Party, Union Home Minister on Monday paid floral tributes to Syama Prasad Mukherjee and Pt Deendayal Upadhyaya at his residence.

Amit Shah termed the BJP as a “true carrier” of the country’s democracy.
He tweeted in Hindi, “Heart greetings to all activists and countrymen on the foundation day of Bharatiya Janata Party, the true carrier of India’s democracy.”
“The BJP has always devoted itself for the national interest with its nationalist ideology and principles,” he added.
