New Delhi: The Tablighi Jamaat event have become the hotspot for the spread of coronavirus and the members who attended the event has contributed to spread the disease.
A new case has emerged that those members who were quarantined at four flats in Delhi’s Dwaraka neighbourhood have thrown bottles filled with urine. The bottles were found at 6 pm on Tuesday and a FIR has been filed at the Dwarka North Police Station against unknown persons.
According to the FIR, based on a complaint filed by the Assistant Director of the quarantine facility in Dwarka’s Sector 16B, the attendees of Tablighi Jamaat have been accused of throwing the bottles “to spread coronavirus among other people”.
This comes days after UP government slapped NSA against those attendees who misbehaved in the Ghaziabad hospital and with the nurses.
The number of coronavirus cases in the country would have been significantly fewer had the Jamaat event not been held. The Health Ministry said the rate of doubling of cases would have been 7.4 days instead of the current 4.1.
