New Delhi: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Thursday thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for sending a five-tonne cargo of medicines, including anti-malarial drug hydroxychloroquine, to fight against COVID-19.
Netanyahu tweeted, “Thank you, my dear friend @narendramodi, Prime Minister of India, for sending Chloroquine to Israel. All the citizens of Israel thank you!”

Benjamin Netanyahu thanked India after the consignment reached Israel soon after he requested PM Modi to export chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine.
Coronavirus has infected nearly 10,000 people in Israel and claimed 86 lives.
