Chennai: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister K Palaniswami has ordered the extension of the complete lockdown till April 30.
He said that the decision has been taken with the recommendations made by public health experts.
Tamil Nadu becomes the seventh state to announce lockdown extension to curb the spread of coronavirus pandemic. Earlier, Maharashtra, Punjab, Odisha, Rajasthan, West Bengal and Telangana had extended the lockdown.
