New Delhi: Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman took to Twitter to express the win of Modi government where she showed that approval ratings for Prime Minister Narendra Modi amid coronavirus pandemic are the highest among 10 world leaders.

“Public opinion based approval ratings of world leaders shown in the charts. @PMOIndia leads #IndiaFightsCorona from the front.Prime Minister leads India’s fight against coronavirus from the front. Consistent high approval ratings for PM Narendra Modi. Nation has confidence in its leadership in an extraordinary situation due a pandemic,” Sitharaman claimed in her tweet.

Sitharaman shared two graphs to support her point, each of which showed “net approval (approval minus disapproval) among adult residents of each country”.

This survey gains importance to the ruling party as the Opposition has criticised time and again for the nationwide lockdown to contain the spread of coronavirus.
