New Delhi: Hours after physical attack on journalist Arnab Goswami by Congress goons, the Youth Congress on Friday showed their devotion for party’s interim president Sonia Gandhi by tweeting an infographic that read “Maa Tujhe Salaam”.

However, this kind of devotion outraged the netizens and castigated the Youth Congress. The Youth Congress’s use of slogans like Maa Tujhe Salaam to refer Sonia Gandhi did not go well with the citizens.

One of the Twitteratis in response tweeted, ” In Maa Tujhe Salaam, Maa equated with Mother India. No hard feelings, ye kuch jyada ho gaya. Is she equivalent of India now that you put her over the tricolour & call Maa? Glad that they haven’t replaced saffron with red, lest different country ka flag ban jata.”

Another user’s tweet read,” Why I won’t ever vote for this party to rule my country.”

This is a clear indication of Congress’s hands behind the attack on Arnab Goswami and his wife for questioning Sonia Gandhi on Palghar lynching case. And it is to be pondered that whether Congress have more devotion to Bharat Maa or Sonia Gandhi.
