New Delhi: An FIR has been registered in Kerala against Zee News’ Editor-in-chief Sudhir Chaudhary for reporting on various kinds of ‘jihad’ on a TV show.
Taking a dig at Pulitzer awards, Chaudhary tweeted on Thursday, “Here’s my Pulitzer Prize for reporting the truth.Sharing the citation— an FIR filed against me by the Kerala police under nonbailable sections. The award for exposing inconvenient facts. A clear msg for media. If u don’t toe the decades old pseudo-secular line you’ll be behind bars.”

The FIR has been filed in Kerala over his March 11 report where he had exposed all the hidden agenda behind ‘Jihad’ with a flowchart.
“This is the price for daring to speak against #ZameenJihad in Jammu, #LoveJihad in Kerala, PFI funding of CAA protests, and for daring to enter Shaheen Bagh. I have all the respect for the law but these tactics won’t stop me. Bring it on!,” he added.

“This is the new terror template of some political parties. File political FIRs based on religion to threaten journalists. They want to muzzle nationalistic voices in the name of secularism. India should unite and not allow this to happen. Jai Hind !” he said.

In the show, Chaudhary had explained two types of Jihad- Hard Jihad and Soft Jihad.
“Hard Jihad includes Population Jihad, Love Jihad, Land Jihad, Education Jihad, Victim Jihad and Direct Jihad, while Soft Jihad includes Economic Jihad, History Jihad, Media Jihad, Movies and Songs Jihad and Secular Jihad,” he had explained.
This is the second such case were freedom of expression is denied after Republic TV editor-in -chief Arnab Goswami was physically attacked for exposing and questioning the Congress party.
