Lucknow: Lucknow’s Hazratganj police station has registered an FIR against Congress leader Alka Lamba over her derogatory remarks against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
The complaint was filed by Dr Preeti Verma, member of the Uttar Pradesh Child Protection Commission. The FIR has been registered under sections 504, 505 (1)(b) and 505 (2) of the Indian Penal Code.
In a video Lamba shared on Twitter, she could be seen calling PM Modi and CM Yogi Adityanath “impotent”, in terms of performing their duties. She continued to say that she spits on the face of the duo.

Recalling, Unnao Rape case in which former MLS Kuldeep Singh Sengar was involved, she termed ‘Beti Bachao’ campaign a “flop show” and said that the government has failed to protect daughters of India and provide justice to the victims.
